Experience the waterworld below the surface
The Nordsøen Oceanarium is the largest aquarium in Northern Europe and offers numerous experiences. Here, you can get up close to life beneath the surface of the North Sea. You can walk directly into the depths, where you can observe 2,000 to 3,000 fish, the seal enclosure, and the daily feedings of the seals in the Oceanarium’s 4.5 million liters of water.
You will also find the skeleton of the 17.4-meter-long fin whale, which washed up on the beach in Blokhus in February 2016. Learn more about this giant creature and why it stranded.
