Sale and delivery

Below you will find practical information regarding the use of our online booking system. You can read about how we process your data, how you receive your booking confirmation, and the terms for payment and cancellation.

Payment

All prices in the online booking system of Løkken Klit Camping & Cottage Village – as well as elsewhere on the website – are stated in Danish Kroner (DKK), including VAT and all applicable taxes, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

When booking, a deposit must be paid immediately – the remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days before arrival. If the booking is made between 1 and 45 days before arrival, the full amount is due immediately. If you visit Løkken Klit Camping without a prior reservation, no advance payment is required.

Payment via the online booking system can be made using one of the following accepted debit or credit cards: Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, Diners, and American Express. When using a foreign credit card, a fee is charged and passed on to the payment processor – this fee is not imposed by us. All transactions are processed in Danish Kroner (DKK).

General information about online shopping

You can shop safely through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are generally protected against credit card fraud on the internet, therefore there is no excess if an abuse of your credit card should happen. Shipping and delivery

When booking and paying for a cottage, rental tent, or a pitch for your own tent or caravan, you will receive a binding booking confirmation from Løkken Klit Camping & Cottage Village, listing all details of your reservation. This confirmation can be printed directly from the website after completing the booking and will also be sent automatically via email, provided a valid email address is given.

Delivery of the ordered product starts when arriving at Løkken Klit Camping & Cottage Village on the stated arrival date and ends upon departure on the stated departure date. These dates are listed in the booking confirmation. Subject to availability.

Right of cancellation and refund policy

You may cancel your booking under the following conditions:

  • More than 30 days before arrival: Full refund minus an administrative fee (see below).
  • Less than 30 days and more than 7 days before arrival: 50% refund – but never less than the administrative fee (see below).
  • Less than 7 days before arrival: No refund.

Administrative fees for camping pitches: DKK 400,-
Administrative fees for cottages, rental caravans, tents, or seasonal pitches: DKK 1.000,-

If you wish to transfer your booking to another person, an administrative fee of DKK 400,- will be charged for processing the change.

Please note: Paid booking deposits will not be refunded if guests fail to show up.

Data collection

Løkken Klit Camping & Cottage Village will register your name, address, email, and other relevant information related to your purchase in our customer database. These data are not shared, but stored for 5 years.

Løkken Klit Camping & Cottage Village uses server-side cookies and an encrypted internet connection for safe payment and data handling of your supplied information.

When paying by credit card, your information is transmitted via a secure server, which encrypts your data before transmission.

Complaint handling

If, for any reason, you do not receive your booking confirmation and no error message was displayed, please contact us using the email address or phone number listed below.

Complaints regarding the booking process, the booking itself, or the product (your stay) must be made within a reasonable time after the issue is discovered – or should have been discovered during a review of the agreement. Complaints can be made in writing or verbally.

The right to file a complaint expires one year after the product (your stay) has been delivered, according to § 83(1) of the Danish Sale of Goods Act, unless otherwise agreed.

Once Løkken Klit Camping & Cottage Village receives your complaint, it will be processed as quickly as possible. We will determine whether the complaint leads to a refund, exchange, or discount.
